Sometimes I miss Tokyo, especially the tiny French restaurant we used to go to. The people there were awesome and they recognized us every time we came in -- it was like a real neighborhood bistro, like living in New York or what I imagine living in New York would be like, where you had particular places you went and they were yours.
... um.
Write something? :-D

Argh, iTunes keeps throwing things like k-pop and Pimsleur's Korean at me, which is so not cool. Writing! Yes!

(That icon will always make me titter. UFO. Valint facial expression. WHALE!)
Oh, and welcome back, by the way!

That icon's even better with sound effects. Try it! vvvvvrrrrr.....eeeeeeeehhhhhnnnn.....vrrrrr....

It's from Master and Commander, right? I somehow never got around to watching that and now I feel like I'll be disappointed if there's not a scene with UFOs and levitating whales.

M&C, correct. And no, there aren't any UFOs and levitating whales, but it does have marine iguanas and casual homosocial relationships. Fun fact: mainstream readers of the books call them the Aubrey/Maturin novels. No, really.

Am I a good friend or what?

I...know I should. Normally, I try not to get all maudlin, for real. That Mike/Tina and Saito/Eames ain't gonna write itself.
(no subject)
Mike/Tina?! GET TO WORK, WENCH.

IT WILL BE GOOD.

I was having a maudlin moment, but I'm better now.
