Cannot sleep. Just talked to a milk carton (by setting it on the counter and seriously saying "Now don't move").

Have I mentioned I've been in contact with Kaplan about getting a teaching license/MA online? 'Cause right now, especially if the US economy keeps up this way, I'm thinking about doing another year in Korea to save money and get that degree, then going back to the US and teaching there.

I mean, I know the hours will be less heavy than the ones here and I won't have the language barrier to deal with. And I really do enjoy working with kids, and I could still work with a youth-oriented nonprofit again if I decide to. Once my contract is up here, I'll go home for a bit to see my family and drown myself in things like gay bars and veggie burgers, then hopefully be able to snag another decent teaching job in a more urban area.

Also, I've got a date lined up Friday night. With a dude. 'Cause the gay-girl scene in Pohang is for shit. Gonna be interesting. Then on Saturday, I'm heading to Daegu for, ideally, salsa dancing and bar-hopping and [livejournal.com profile] bluerosefairying (look, you're a verb now!). All this is assuming I'm well and well-rested. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE ZOMBIES COME?

So, I have this problem.

I need groceries. Hate grocery shopping, need groceries.

I've got cereal, PB&J fixings, and a few things in cans (only the can opener is MIA, so that doesn't count). Oh, and salad dressing and soy sauce and nothing to put it on. I could run across the street to the Family Mart and grab some things to tide me over, only I'm tired and kind of sick and I feel lame buying food at a convenience store so regularly.

Possibly some latent fear of being seen as that white girl who always gets ice cream and OMFG DO ALL AMERICANS EAT LIKE THAT??? Which is, like, beyond solipsistic. But it's getting later and I'm getting hungrier and I don't want a sandwich. My kingdom for a college meal plan...
