Have I mentioned I've been in contact with Kaplan about getting a teaching license/MA online? 'Cause right now, especially if the US economy keeps up this way, I'm thinking about doing another year in Korea to save money and get that degree, then going back to the US and teaching there.
I mean, I know the hours will be less heavy than the ones here and I won't have the language barrier to deal with. And I really do enjoy working with kids, and I could still work with a youth-oriented nonprofit again if I decide to. Once my contract is up here, I'll go home for a bit to see my family and drown myself in things like gay bars and veggie burgers, then hopefully be able to snag another decent teaching job in a more urban area.
Also, I've got a date lined up Friday night. With a dude. 'Cause the gay-girl scene in Pohang is for shit. Gonna be interesting. Then on Saturday, I'm heading to Daegu for, ideally, salsa dancing and bar-hopping and
bluerosefairying (look, you're a verb now!). All this is assuming I'm well and well-rested. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE ZOMBIES COME?
