I! Have an excellent idea! (Imagine me saying this like the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland.) Let's change the subject!
Srsly. All the meta and post-ep pondering that gets slapped up on
house_wilson? Make a new comm for it the way we did for the Sims posts, or just see about getting all the meta posted at
housefic_meta God knows HFM needs to get its name out there some more. This could also get fandom more involved in HoF nomming.

i should do something about it seeing i am one of the mods, y/y? i might make a post about it on my lj a bit later, see what people's thoughts on the whole meta in house_wilson thing is.

It seems sensible, right? Not that sense is this fandom's forte, but still. Also, elitist bitches like myself would rather just read meta by people they trust with that kind of ammo (flisters, etc) instead of peeking over at h_w and having to wander through all the crazy to get to the fic.
It's too bad

I will make a post in my lj and get people to bitch at me about house_wilson! My lj is good for that kind of thing! lmao

I just feel bad for new authors who are actually good and get lost in the shuffle.

some of the discussions, though, HURT MY HEAD. one of the latest ones in particular. i leave 'em to it because they're not doing anyone any harm but it still makes me want to hit my head on something solid sometimes, lol.

So there'll be some meta after every episode (at least after the HW strong ones)... That'll pass after a day or two, and scrolling isn't so hard to do, if you're not interested.
As long as the mods intervene after people fall over themselves posting the exact same thing only less coherently... ^_~

That said, I follow a simple procedure for meta: if my eyes glaze over too much, it's time to hit the back button. Because Sturgeon's Law applies equally well to meta as it does to fic. *g*
