...ohai, also, I'm going to attempt banana bread tomorrow (or the day after, depending on the state of the bananas). This is one of maybe three things I can competently make from scratch, so I'm hoping I don't screw it up.

Banana bread's an excellent thing to make! I've done it a couple of times. You could be adventurous and throw in bits of dried fruit, or a few peanut-butter chips.

I was thinking maybe cinnamon, just to make it a little more autumnal. I'm in this stage where I want to eat pumpkin-spice EVERYTHING, only I'm not sure ginger would fare so well in banana bread.

Okay, maybe not nowhere: I'm a little disappointed at the people who claimed my Big Bang pieces for mixes and art, and I'm frustrated that the dryer didn't get my pants fully dried out. I'll see about an episode of Frasier or something. Or bunnies.
Dried cherries aren't exactly seasonal, but would go with the bananas, and also mace or allspice.

And I'm cuddling my bunny (http://www.peacetoys.com/The-Foundling-Collection/Foundling-Bunny.html), which always helps.
