Today, I had a kindergartener ask, "Teacher, I have a question. What is cellar?"
We were reading a story that had nothing to do with cellars.
This kid has a habit of asking for the most random definitions at the most random times. I've taken to writing the words on the board and telling him to keep it in his head until the end of class, when I'll show all the kids pictures of the definitions.
Previous words have included mermaid, turbine, rumor, and bullfighting.
