Felt lousy today and I had to lie down for a while. It didn't help overmuch, as I proceeded to have a long, elaborate dream in which I was River Tam.

Woke up disoriented and dehydrated and I still can't quite make myself focus. Ran to the store, still dazed, came back and pulled the most phenomenally terrible parking job in my life. Still feeling dazed. Argh. Maybe I'll write Riverfic, start delving into a new fandom. House has been my one and only for quite a while now. I've also been tossing around ideas for a couple Wicked fics, though that fandom generally makes me want to claw my face off. A pleasant majority of Housefic writers have brains, which I think has spoiled me.

Speaking of which, I have to respond to...God...like, five collabs because [livejournal.com profile] nakeno is being unfairly productive today and keeps sending me porn. How annoying, right? *cracks knuckles and contemplates Wilsononspeeeed*

Jabbering about OotP forthcoming. When I'm not, like, stupidly out of it.

More answers to that damn quiz everyone's doing. Questions by [livejournal.com profile] tasha_elizabeth.

1. What article of clothing do you wish you could wear and feel comfortable in, but can't?
Tank tops. I'm picky about showing my arms and I always feel ridiculously exposed.
2. What movie, if any, have you cried at the end of?
When I was little, I couldn't watch the My Little Pony movie (the one where they have to save Ponyland from getting conquered by some evil purple goo) without crying at the end. For the life of me, I can't figure out why. I also bawled at the end of All That Jazz once, but it had been a really long day.
3. What's the stupidest thing you've heard someone say recently? Did the context make it better or worse?
Some steaming crock of crap about people sometimes needing to be around other people of the same race in order to comfortably discuss things like music. So, so much worse in that this was a former coworker who was supposed to be serving as a role model for foster kids, and she remained adamant that having friends, period, wasn't preferable to having friends of the same race.
4. Where would you go in the event of mass civil unrest?
The Canadian border.
5. Ignoring age, sex, race or talent, who would you play if you could play anyone on stage in front of a packed house?
Toss-up between Rossignol in Peter Weiss's Marat/Sade and the Baron Docteur in Suzan-Lori Parks's Venus.
