1. Fucking awesome wallpaper. Except it's yellow, and wasn't there a sort-of terrifying short story somewhere in the standard English major curriculum about yellow wallpaper? >_>

2. How does one carry one of these magnificent pink beasties home? Am I seeing baskets and handles there or... what?

PS: Have a lovely drive during the holiday! And send back more pictures. I vacation vicariously, and these are so enchanting. ;)

It's more orange, really, and I have a soft spot for that story because the professor in whose class I read it was amazing. Also, waking up to something so...eye-watering really helps me get out of bed.

My Flickr is here (http://flickr.com/photos/29983579@N07/page2/) if you want to look, though I do plan on posting the majority of these in a bigger picspam post ASAP.

As for the mobility of octopi...I am honestly not sure. I'll have to learn how to ask in Korean.

Yes, The Yellow Wallpaper. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was reminded of that story. LOL

Are those real octopi? Like for eating? They look so... red. lol

And that wallpaper - wow - I bet that makes you get up and out of the house real fast in the morning, lest it will burn itself on your retinas permanently. *gg*

Have a great time traveling around! :-)

That's what I thought--but they looked so picturesque. I actually love my wallpaper. It's got character. Lots of character.

Pretty much, right? If you get up close, the wall is actually slightly glittery, too. I don't know what the interior designer was smoking.

Those octopuses are awesome. You should try that dish I've heard about where they cut them up and you can eat them still moving. Okay, I wouldn't either XD

Eep! Unfortunately, I'm a vegetarian and kind of a wimp about trying food that, like, moves.

Those octopi are...so strange looking. I don't think I could ever take one home and eat it. They're so vibrant and interesting, but...strange.

Oh, I wouldn't either. But they're weirdly pretty all the same.

...do those octopi come with convenient handles? O.o

They certainly look to, don't they? I haven't seen anyone actually try to tote one, though.
