I! Have an excellent idea! (Imagine me saying this like the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland.) Let's change the subject!

Srsly. All the meta and post-ep pondering that gets slapped up on [livejournal.com profile] house_wilson? Make a new comm for it the way we did for the Sims posts, or just see about getting all the meta posted at [livejournal.com profile] housefic_meta God knows HFM needs to get its name out there some more. This could also get fandom more involved in HoF nomming.

I AGREE SO HARD WITH THIS. I GET SO SICK OF SEEING POST-EP REACTION AFTER POST-EP REACTION, AFTER META AFTER META AFTER BAD FUCKING META.

i should do something about it seeing i am one of the mods, y/y? i might make a post about it on my lj a bit later, see what people's thoughts on the whole meta in house_wilson thing is.

AMEN! All the clutter, clutter, clutter. And then, when metas escalate into cat-fights, they can stay in one little place.

I guess, this would make sense, if you only want meta... The HW comm is for all the HW related stuff, so meta belongs there, too.

So there'll be some meta after every episode (at least after the HW strong ones)... That'll pass after a day or two, and scrolling isn't so hard to do, if you're not interested.

As long as the mods intervene after people fall over themselves posting the exact same thing only less coherently... ^_~

Nooo, don't send them to HFM! That comm's got a pretty good intelligence quotient.

Most of the meta seems to be about the show itself, not fic, so it likely wouldn't be suitable for HFM anyway.

That said, I follow a simple procedure for meta: if my eyes glaze over too much, it's time to hit the back button. Because Sturgeon's Law applies equally well to meta as it does to fic. *g*
