I has been tagged.

Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

1. It takes me forever to fall asleep because I don't know how to shut off my mind along with my body.

2. I learned how to chug about a year ago when I dropped a cookie in a glass of milk and frantically gulped down the whole thing in order to get to it.

3. I will always have a soft spot for the Girl Talk YA series, as hokey as it is.

4. OMG SHOES. I know most of my flist is going to think I'm insane, but I like shoe shopping. I love high heels and feeling taller than I am, even though I'm 5'8". The pair I wear most days are three-inch Steve Maddens.

5. When I was in high school, I once gave up French literature for Lent. I'm not Catholic, but I was a pretty artsy-fartsy teen and I wanted to see if I could do it. I ended up reading a bunch of Dostoevsky and all the Sherlock Holmes stories.

6. The first time I did summer stock, I got my tongue pierced and successfully hid it from my mother for almost a year.

7. When I did Habitat For Humanity, one ridiculously windy day I almost went parasailing off a shed roof with a piece of particle board. Later on I saw an episode of Mythbusters where they tried something similar and failed appallingly.

8. I find name meanings fascinating. I lost my voice reading a baby name book out loud when I was seven and used to do things like draw pictures of girls and boys portraying the meanings of their names.
