And now, some entertainment before I schlep myself and my little bro off to see X-Men!
Some of you know that my first fandom was Les Miserables (book, not musical, thx). Today, June 5, is the day the barricades fell and pretty much all but three major characters died. Victor Hugo excelled at writing doorstop-sized tomes and killing his darlings with great panache. There was a time when I ate that up like nobody's business and so did quite a few other teenage girls.
In the spirit of returning to my roots, this is a mix of French songs. I'd give a bonus shout out to my Huguenot ancestor who got himself kicked out of France back in the day and lived to tell about it, but I don't seem to have any songs about Huguenots. What the hell?
So instead, have a picture of Marion Cotillard looking fly as fuck.
