Untitled snippet for
prompt_a_day (242 words; PG):
I was whining over my inability to actually finish anything, so I started chucking out whatever vignettes came to mind. I don't normally post original fic, but this could be cool to expand on, maybe.
Intoxicate (Wilson/OMC, implications of House/Wilson; 265 words; NC-17):
Throw ya hands in the air, say INCEST! Fittingly, I was a little tipsy when I wrote this, but I like the fact that it's short and screwed up.
Search and Destroy (House/Wilson; 1,924 words; NC-17):
One of my
rsl_bday_drive commissions. An angsty post-Frozen confrontation. *sighs* I miss the House and Wilson from the early seasons. They've well and truly lost their innocence now. Which I think explains the fun of writing the guys as teenagers (yet another bizarre collab, coming soon to an LJ near you).
Catch (Harry Potter crossover with Neil Gaiman's Coraline; 150 words; G):
Something else I'd like to expand on, though the HP fandom sort of frightens me and I'm not sure what the market is like for crossovers.
Qualtagh (House/Wilson, Wilson/Amber; 291 words; PG):
More Amber-related angst. As much as I would love it if she wound up helping the House/Wilson dynamic instead of hindering it, I seem to have been in a pessimistic mood this month. Also? A qualtagh is the first person you encounter after leaving your house. GIVE ME A COOKIE, IT'S A PUN!
Bud (Ada/Ruby friendship; 170 words; G):
I need to read or watch Cold Mountain again. Ruby rocked.
Bloom (unrequited Maurice Hall/Clive Durham; 197 words; G)
Another one I need to tap back into. Love the film, love the book; first try with fic, but the potential is endless. I remember
evremonde had some excellent Maurice pieces.
Wither (Nina and Satine; 172 words; R):
Moulin Rouge. This was my fandom love for about two years. I thought the tango scene was amazing, I thought Nini was a badass, and part of me still likes to play in that hot, glittery mess of a sandbox once and a while.
Discovery (House/Wilson; 5,672 words (half the total wordcount); NC-17)
A little something
nakeno and I started writing after Alone, since House's possession of porpoise porn was begging for a backstory. Banter and sex, the candy of collaborators everywhere.
the most quoted prophet (Chase/Kutner friendship; 194 words; G):
Because these two need to interact more. They both so...bumbling. Only Chase is actually a well-rounded character and Kutner's flatter than Thirteen's chest. Still. I'm trying to give him a chance.
Give and Take (House/Wilson; 5,105; NC-17):
*laughs insanely* The
get_house_laid prompt I liked to much I claimed it twice! (In my defense, I wrote three other fics for Round 1 of GHL and never got around to this one.) Such a pain to write, so relieving to finish. "House wants to be forced" is the kind of prompt that could potentially spawn some of the worst smut ever, and I was bound and determined to avoid any slip-ups. For all the frustration I had with this, I wound up liking it quite a bit in the end.
