There were a few facepalm-worthy moments in there, too, though. Did they have to have him doing pelvic thrusts and singing "get thee behind me" during the exorcism? Really?

They really did.

I also facepalmed. And the worst part was, my theatre companion didn't get it. He was like, "Why's everyone laughing so loudly?"

That's the one thing that bugged me the most, that sometimes the line between poking fun at stereotypes and just plain shamelessness got a bit blurred. But other than that, I had a blast.
