Yuletide happened! I wasn't able to read as voraciously as I did last year, so I haven't collated enough data for a recs post as of now. But I was, unlike last year, able to write more than one fic. I also learned a lot about Senegalese animist beliefs and the perils of creating sock Tumblrs (not for the same fic).

Just wanted to drop by and thank you again for that extraordinary Worst Muse fic — I kept thinking it couldn't possibly get any better and then it did and it just *flails* there's a poem in there somewhere when all these feels settled down a bit more. By which I mean, in more coherent prose, it moved me to want to write poetry, and I think I will when I can get out of the interpretative dance of delight phase.

(Thank you. What an amazing gift of a fic. I'm still unstrung from my eloquence and ringing yet.)

Gah, I don't know, did we meet? We might have! That was my first con ever and it was kind of a whirlwind. Does that mean you're also from the DMV area? Fandom is the smallest of worlds sometimes.

And again, I'm so happy the fic was to your liking. I really wasn't sure if it would jive with your sense of humor, but I figured it was worth a try. If you do write any Worst Muse inspired poetry, that would be so elegantly ironic words fail me.
